[The Beauty Diaries: New for face and eyes]*

I have been trying a few new products and brands lately so expect more beauty reviews coming soon!
To start November with this section, I wanted to give you an insight on what I have been applying on my face mainly (foundation and concealer) with a little bit of eye shadow.

He estado probando algunos productos y algunas marcas nuevas así que en breve ¡más reseñas de temática de maquillaje por aquí!
Para la primera de Noviembre, quería empezar por la base (maquillaje y corrector) con algo de sombra de ojos.

You know I have been using the Estee Lauder Double Wear for a couple of years now and then use BB or CC cream on the side for lighter (lazy) days, but since I had read really good reviews from True Match from L'Oreal and it has an affordable price, I decided to give it a go. It's medium coverage (more towards light) and blends like a dream, good colour texture match as claimed on the bottle but does not stay that long on the face and towards the end of the day I can see some shine in my T zone (unless I apply some powder in the morning). Overall I am happy with this foundation and would recommend it, especially for the colour match, the non cakey light feeling to it and how easy it is to apply and wear.

Lately I have been using the Collection lasting Perfection concealer and the Erase Paste from Benefit until I bought this Topshop The Concealer from their new The Face Collection on a whim (what can I say, cute tiny clear bottle with a pump) and I'm so glad I did, lasts all day long without moving and has a great coverage. The only downside is that it only comes in 2 colours so it may be hard to match everyone´s skin tone. It´s not a cheap concealer (£10) but it is totally worth it.

Ya sabéis que llevo años usando el Double Wear de Estee Lauder y que uso una crema BB o CC para los días vagos o menos ajetreados. Como había leído maravillas de este maquillaje, el True Match de L'Oreal, me decidí a probarlo (el precio también ayuda). Tiene una cobertura media tirando a light, es muy fácil de aplicar y copia bien el color y textura de la piel (tal y como dice en el bote). Las pegas son que no aguanta hasta el final del día y que a no ser que me eche polvos en la zona T me salen brillos a mitad del día. A pesar de esto, lo recomiendo, ya q es un maquillaje light muy fácil de aplicar y con un acabado muy natural.

Últimamente en cuanto a correctores usaba el Collection Lasting Perfection y el Erase Paste de Benefit hasta que he añadido el nuevo corrector de Topshop de su The Face Collection a mi estuche de maquillaje. Lo compré por capricho (qué os voy a contar de esta botellita tan mona de cristal con dosificador) y aunque no es barato (10 libras) pero es el mejor que he probado hasta ahora. ¡Cubre mucho y no se mueve en todo el día! La pega es que sólo viene en dos tonos, por lo que no sirve para todo tipo de tonos de piel.

My latest discovery since last Summer have been long wear eye shadow sticks. I have one by Charlotte Tilbury, one by Bobbi Brown and these from Kiko. Honestly, they perform just as well for less than half of the price, that's why I went to get more colours. Pigmented, easy to blend and with staying power!

Mi último descubrimiento en cuanto a ojos son las sombra de ojos en stick de larga duración. Tengo uno de Charlotte Tilbury, uno de Bobbi Brown y estos 3 de Kiko; sinceramente, estos no tienen nada que envidiarle a los otros dos. Muy pigmentados, se extienden de maravilla y aguantan el día sin moverse por menos de la mitad de precio.

And last the latest BB cream I have acquied, from Benefit. I have to say I am not very happy with this product, I don´t like the finish it has or maybe the colour is not the right one for me or it is not the right one for my skin type, but it is far from what I expect on a BB cream, has any of you tried it? 

Y por último la crema BB de Benefit. tengo que decir que no me convence, no sé si es porque no es el color adecuado para mí, pero no me gusta el acabado que tiene o quizás sea que no es para mi tipo de piel pero, está lejos de ser lo que yo espero de una crema BB. ¿La habéis probado?
